DocDing helps you keep documents. It does not give legal, tax or immigration advice.

1The agreement

These Terms will form an agreement between you and DocDing. “DocDing”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator that provides the DocDing service, as named in the app store listing or your purchase record. By creating an account you accept them.

If you use DocDing for a household, you are responsible for the members you invite.

2The service

DocDing provides a private vault for storing and organizing documents, important dates with reminders, households with member roles, and optional AI connections limited to deadline information and reminder proposals that you approve.

Some features may not be available on every platform.

3Your account and recovery key

Keep your sign-in details and recovery key safe. Because documents are encrypted on your device and DocDing staff cannot read your vault, losing the recovery key can mean losing access to your documents.

Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account.

4Your content

You keep all rights in the documents and information you add. You give DocDing only the permission needed to store, synchronize and deliver them to you and to the members of your household.

Only add documents you are entitled to keep, and only invite people who should see them.

In a household, the owner and admins choose each member’s role. Admins and editors can add and update documents. Editors can delete only the documents they added; the owner and admins can delete any document in the household.

5Acceptable use

Do not use DocDing to break the law, to store content you have no right to hold, to attack or overload the service, or to try to access another person’s vault.

6Plans and payment

DocDing offers two plans, Essential with 1 GB and Pro with 5 GB of storage shared by the members of a subscription. The owner of the household holds the subscription and pays for it.

Purchases made through an app store are handled under that store’s terms, including renewals and refunds.

7AI assistant connections (MCP)

Off unless you turn it on. AI assistant connections are off for every account by default.

You may choose to turn them on in Settings, under Privacy, then AI assistants. Before they turn on, you must read the consent shown there and confirm every statement in it. DocDing keeps a record of your consent.

An assistant can only read your deadline schedule: the category, date type, due date, days remaining and next reminder of each deadline in the categories you choose. It never receives document names, files or their contents, people’s names, links to documents, or anything filed under Health. It may propose new reminders, which are created only if you approve them in your Review inbox; it cannot change or delete anything.

The assistant and its provider are third parties: they are not part of DocDing, are not DocDing’s service providers, and act under their own terms and privacy policies. Deadline information given to an assistant is in the control of its provider.

Turning on AI assistant connections is your own decision and your own responsibility. You confirm that you are entitled to share this deadline information, including information about other people in your household.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DocDing is not responsible or liable for any AI assistant or its provider, including their answers, errors, omissions, availability or security, or for how information is stored, used, disclosed, transferred or kept after it is shared with them. You agree to indemnify DocDing against claims by others arising from your decision to share information with an assistant. Nothing in these Terms removes rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

DocDing notifies you when an assistant reads your deadlines and lists each access in AI activity. You can turn AI assistant connections off at any time, which disconnects every assistant and withdraws your consent. Information an assistant has already received cannot be recalled.

8No professional advice and liability

Reminders and suggestions help you keep track, but you remain responsible for checking dates and renewing documents on time.

DocDing does not give legal, immigration, tax or insurance advice.

9Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time from Settings, then Account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, and will tell you why where we can.

10Changes and governing law

We will tell you about important changes before they take effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where the legal operator named in the app store listing or your purchase record is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protections or the courts available to you under the law of the place where you live.
